Vengo de Windows, soy novato con Linux y Ubuntu. Acabo de instalar por primera vez Ubuntu 24.04.
tengo Windows 10 en un SSD e instalé el Ubuntu en otro SSD diferente. Quedan en modo dual.

Al hacer la instalación escogí que se iniciara sin pedir contraseña.
(cuando todo estuviera completo y funcionando pensaba cambiar a "pedir contraseña al iniciar")

Ubuntu arranca bien, se actualizó el SO de forma correcta (no pidió contraseña)
Queriendo instalar Aplicaciones, pide la contraseña, la escribo, no arranca la instalación y aparece el mensaje:

PackageKit error: PackageKitError.notAuthorized
Failed to obtain authentication

La contraseña está bien, escrita cuidadosamente, pero no hay forma
no lo entiendo,
